A Perseid Fireball with double terminal flash captured by the Sky Monitoring Video Finder (an ASI 120mm webcam taking continuous 3-second exposures at 640x480 resolution mounted on the LX-200 12-inch telescope). It's used to monitor the sky during telescopic ccd imaging sessions. At the time this photo was taken the telescope was aimed at Stephan's Quintet.
